About

Built by a producer, for the session.

bpmprodlab exists because every producer eventually alt-tabs out of their DAW to work out a delay time, a reverb decay, or a compatible key — and lands on a slow, ad-choked page that answers half the question.

These tools are different in three ways. They're genre-aware: a techno producer and an ambient producer need different numbers from the same formula, so every preset carries real production context, not just a tempo. They show the math: every tool explains its formula with a worked example, so you learn the relationship instead of memorizing a result. And they're fast: no frameworks loading, no popups, no signup — the answer is on screen before your track loops back around.

The site is written and maintained by a producer working primarily in Ableton Live. Corrections, requests, and ideas for new tools are genuinely welcome — see the contact page.
